Speed

Speed is a 1994 American action-thriller film directed by Jan de Bont, and set in Los Angeles. LAPD officer Jack Traven becomes the focus of a bomber and extortionist, retired Atlanta bomb squad sergeant Howard Payne. After Payne escapes his first entanglement with Traven, he sets up a bomb on a city bus that Traven boards and must keep moving above 50 miles per hour or the bomb will explode. The film stars Keanu Reeves, Dennis Hopper, Sandra Bullock and Jeff Daniels. It won two Academy Awards, for Best Sound and Best Sound Effects at the 67th Academy Awards in 1995

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is a 2010 American sword-and-sorcery action film written by Jordan Mechner, Boaz Yakin, Doug Miro, and Carlo Bernard; directed by Mike Newell; produced by Jerry Bruckheimer; and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. The film takes place in Philadelphia and tells the story of a man whose developed sociopathic tendencies drove him into killing while targeting not only his family's killer but also the criminal justice system. Law Abiding Citizen was released theatrically in North America on October 16, 2009

Independence Day is a 1996 American disaster science fiction action film about an alien invasion of Earth. The narrative focuses on a disparate group of individuals and families as they converge in the Nevada desert and, along with the rest of the human population, participate in a last-chance counterattack on July 4 – the same date as the Independence Day holiday in the United States. It was directed by German director Roland Emmerich, who co-wrote the script with producer Dean Devlin.

A Bug's Life

A Bug's Life is a 1998 American computer animated adventure comedy film produced by Pixar and released by Walt Disney Pictures in the United States on November 25, 1998. Directed by John Lasseter and co-directed by Andrew Stanton, the film is the second Disney-Pixar feature film after Toy Story, and the third American computer-animated film after Toy Story and DreamWorks' Antz. Based on Akira Kurosawa's film Seven Samurai, and Aesop's fable "The Ant and the Grasshopper", it tells the tale of an oddball individualist inventor ant named Flik who hires what he thinks are "warrior bugs" — actually circus performers — to fight off a small band of grasshoppers who have made the ant colony their servants. The film received positive reception and was a box office success.

Monsters, Inc. is a 2001 American computer-animated comedy film and the fourth feature-length film produced by Pixar. It was directed by Pete Docter, co-directed by Lee Unkrich and David Silverman, and written by Jill Culton, Peter Docter, Ralph Eggleston, Dan Gerson, Jeff Pidgeon, Rhett Reese, Jonathan Roberts, and Andrew Stanton.[2] The starring voices are John Goodman and Billy Crystal as Sulley and Mike, two monsters who work at a power plant that powers the monster world with children's screams, Mary Gibbs as Boo, a little girl who enters the monster world, Steve Buscemi as Randall, a rival monster.

The Patriot is a 2000 historical war film directed by Roland Emmerich, written by Robert Rodat, and starring Mel Gibson, Chris Cooper, and Heath Ledger. It was produced by the Mutual Film Company and Centropolis Entertainment and was distributed by Columbia Pictures. The film mainly takes place in rural York County, South Carolina and depicts the story of an American swept into the American Revolutionary War when his family is threatened. The protagonist, Benjamin Martin, is loosely based on real Continental Army officers Francis Marion, Nathanael Greene, Andrew Pickens and other Revolutionary War figures.

Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! (English: Who am I to You..!) is a 1994 Hindi film directed by Sooraj Barjatya, and produced by Rajshri Productions. It is a remake of Rajshri's earlier movie Nadiya Ke Paar (1982). The film is a story of two Indian families and the relationships between them, celebrating Indian culture using modern production values. Its soundtrack was scored by Raamlaxman. Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! stars Madhuri Dixit and Salman Khan. It was dubbed into Telugu as Premalayam. Madhuri Dixit won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress. The film was a commercial success and made 135 crore (US$26.93 million) worldwide, breaking the record of Sholay. It became the highest grossing Bollywood Film after its theatrical run and held the record for 7 years till the release of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.


Om Shanti Om

Om Shanti Om (Om Śānti Om ) is a Bollywood musical film directed and choreographed by Farah Khan. It stars Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles while Arjun Rampal, Shreyas Talpade, and Kirron Kher feature in supporting roles. More than forty-two well-known Bollywood stars appear in the course of the film, including thirty of them (not including the stars of the film) in one song alone. The film is set in the 1970s and 2000s; it pays tribute to, and pokes fun at the, Indian film industry of both these eras.

The film was directed by Zack Snyder, while Miller served as executive producer and consultant. It was filmed mostly with a super-imposition Chroma key technique, to help replicate the imagery of the original comic book.

Mission: Impossible


Mission: Impossible is a 1996 action thriller directed by Brian De Palma and starring Tom Cruise. Following on from the television series of the same name, the plot follows a new agent, Ethan Hunt and his mission to uncover the mole within the CIA who has framed him for the murders of his entire IMF team. Work on the script had begun early with filmmaker Sydney Pollack on board, before De Palma, Steven Zaillian, David Koepp, and Robert Towne were brought in. In fact, the film went into pre-production without a shooting script. De Palma came up with some action sequences, but neither Koepp nor Towne were satisfied with the story that leads up to these events. The film is part of the Mission: Impossible (film series).

Directed by Prakash Jha, the film is a socio-political drama based on the controversial policy of caste based reservations in government jobs and educational institutions. The film also stars Prateik Babbar and Manoj Bajpayee and was released on August 12, 2011 to mostly mixed reviews,however,Amitabh Bachchan was nominated the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for this film,but eventually lost to Ranbir Kapoor for Rock star.

Swades: We, the People (English: Homeland) is a 2004 Indian film written, produced and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The film stars Shahrukh Khan and debutante Gayatri Joshi. Although Swades was declared a flop at the Indian box-office, it was successful overseas and received universal critical acclaim and a cult following from Indian and other South Asian audiences around the world. The film was featured on Rediff's list of the 10 Best Bollywood Movies of the Decade.
