Ghajini




Ghajini : is a 2005 Tamil psychological thriller film directed by A. R. Murugadoss released on October 14, 2005. The film stars Suriya, Asin, Nayantara, Pradeep Rawat and Riyaz Khan. It was dubbed and released in Telugu by Allu Aravind in November 2005, and both versions enjoyed critical and commercial acclaim. It was remade into a Hindi film by Murugadoss again in 2008, starring Aamir Khan with Asin playing the same role. The film's idea and lead character's struggle are inspired from Christopher Nolan's Memento.
The film's story is around a rich business entrepreneur falling in love with an ad film actress. The entrepreneur and the actress fall in love, though she does not know that he is an entrepreneur. When she successfully saves a bunch of children who were in danger, she is brutally murdered by a gang leader and the entrepreneur himself gets hit hard on the head when he tries to save his lover, eventually leading him into a state of short term memory loss. He is later studied about and helped by a psychology student to take revenge on the one who murdered his lover.


Kaakha Kaakha


Kaakha Kaakha (English: To Protect) is a 2003 Tamil crime thriller film starring Surya, Jyothika and Jeevan in the lead roles. The film was written and directed by Gautham Menon and the music was composed by Harris Jayaraj. It was Gautam Menon's second Tamil movie after Minnale and was the most top-ranked Tamil movie of 2003 for return-on-investment, based on collection figures from theatres, distributors and producers.It was considered a comeback film for producer Kalaipuli S. Dhanu. Kaakha Kaakha was a major milestone in Surya's acting career, establishing him as a lead actor and carving a niche for him in the Tamil film industry.

Anniyan


Anniyan (English: Stranger) is a 2005 Tamil psychological thriller film directed by S. Shankar. The film stars Vikram, Sadha, Prakash Raj, and Vivek, while featuring background score and soundtrack composed by Harris Jayaraj. The film was released worldwide on 10 June 2005.
The film took over two years to complete and was the most expensive South Indian feature film during the time of release.[3] The film was dubbed into Hindi as Aparichit: The Stranger, in Telugu as Aparichithudu, and was also the first Indian film to be dubbed into French.It was produced and distributed in India by Venu Ravichandran.


Padayappa




Padayappa (Paṭaiyappā ) is a 1999 Tamil drama film written and directed by K. S. Ravikumar. The film features Rajinikanth, Soundarya and Ramya Krishnan playing lead roles, whilst Sivaji Ganesan, Lakshmi and Nassar play pivotal supporting roles. With soundtrack composed by A. R. Rahman, it was highly successful at box office.. This film featured the last appearance by Sivaji Ganesan.

Kung Fu Panda 2


Kung Fu Panda 2 is a 2011 3D American computer-animated action comedy film, directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson, produced by DreamWorks Animation, and distributed by Paramount Pictures. It is the sequel to the 2008 film Kung Fu Panda, in which Po and his friends battle to stop a would-be conqueror with a powerful new weapon and a disquieting link to the giant panda's past. The cast of the original film reprised their voice roles while the new villain, Lord Shen, is voiced by Gary Oldman. The film was released on May 26, 2011 in Real D 3D and Digital 3D. The film has received positive reviews, with many critics praising its animation, voice acting, and character development. It was also a commercial success surpassing the original film and, like the original film, is the highest grossing animated feature film of the year.[5] It is the highest-grossing film directed by a woman and the 50th highest-grossing film of all time. The film is also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Featured Best Picture on January 24, 2012


Moneyball



Moneyball is a 2011 biographical sports drama film directed by Bennett Miller and distributed by Columbia Pictures. The film is based on Michael Lewis's 2003 book of the same name, an account of the Oakland Athletics baseball team's 2002 season and their general manager Billy Beane's attempts to assemble a competitive team. In the film, Beane (Brad Pitt) and assistant GM Peter Brand (Jonah Hill), faced with the franchise's unfavourable financial situation, take a sophisticated sabermetric approach towards scouting and analysing players, acquiring "submarine" pitcher Chad Bradford (Casey Bond) and former catcher Scott Hatteberg (Chris Pratt), and winning 20 consecutive games, an American League record.
Columbia Pictures bought the rights to Lewis's book in 2004.After a number of years in development, the film was featured at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival[5] and was released on September 23, 2011 to critical acclaim.[6] The film was nominated for seven Academy Awards including Best Actor and Best Picture on January 24, 2012

Swordfish


Swordfish is a 2001 crime-thriller film, directed by Dominic Sena and starring John Travolta, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Don Cheadle and Vinnie Jones. The film is an action thriller that was also notable for Halle Berry's first topless scene.[2] The film centers around Stanley Jobson, a ex-con computer hacker who is targeted for recruitment into a bank robbery conspiracy because of his formidable hacking skills.

Hum

Hum ( English: We/Us) is a 1991 Hindi Language film directed by Mukul S. Anand. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Govinda, Kimi Katkar, Shilpa Shirodkar, Deepa Sahi and Danny Denzongpa. This was the last successful film for Bachchan in the early 90s before he announced his temporary retirement immediately after the release of this film for five years. He also won the Filmfare Best Actor Award in 1992. The film ranked second in top grossers of 1991 at the Box Office and was declared as "Hit"

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge ( English: The Big Hearted Will Take the Bride), also known as DDLJ, is a Hindi language film released on 20 October 1995. A romantic comedy, the film marked the directorial debut of Aditya Chopra, who also wrote the story. It was produced by his father Yash Chopra, and stars Shahrukh Khan and Kajol. The film tells the story of a young couple who fall in love on a European vacation, and relates how the boy tries to win over the girl's parents so that she can marry him rather than the boy that her father has chosen for her. It was filmed in India, London, and Switzerland.

Johnny English Reborn is a 2011 British spy comedy film parodying the James Bondsecret agent genre and film franchise reboots. The film is the sequel to Johnny English(2003), and stars Rowan Atkinson reprising his role as the title character[5] and directed byOliver Parker. Real Steel



Real Steel is a 2011 American science fiction action film starring Hugh Jackman and directed by Shawn Levy. The film is based in part on the 1956 short story "Steel" by Richard Matheson, though screenwriter John Gatins placed the film in U.S. state fairs and other "old-fashioned"Americana settings. Real Steel was in development for several years before production began on June 11, 2010. Filming took place primarily in the U.S. state of Michigan. Animatronic robots were built for the film, and motion capture technology was used to depict the brawling of computer-generated robots and animatronics. Real Steel was publicly released in Australia on October 6, 2011, and in the United States and Canada on October 7, 2011, to mixed reviews. It was released in both conventional and IMAX theaters. The film is nominated for the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects at the 84th Academy Awards.
